Custom Made Cloud Strife FFVII Inspired Metal Steambuster Sword with Steamateria

This is a custom reproduction of Cloud Strife's Buster Sword from the FFVII game series with a Steampunk twist.
-Constructed primarily from Aluminum the swords are cut from 1/8" sheet, welded together with internal bracing, filled with foam to help prevent internal rattling, then ground and sanded to a smooth finish with textured painting in metallic hues added to finish the product.
- It is approximately 6'-8" from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle and weighs approximately 31 lbs. The blade is 10" wide and 1.75" thick with a battle worn roughness to it.
-The hand guard is 3"x 3"x 11.25 "long.
- The handle, which is welded securely into the blade and re-enforced with a steel insert, is wrapped in a spiral pattern with genuine aged brown leather. The handle diameter is 1-1/8" and it is 20" long.
-One piece of 40 mm Aluminum and and one of Brass Steamateria are incorporated into the piece. Various gears,cables and electrodes made from brass and copper are attached to give the sense that the Steamateria is powering the weapon. Tried not to overdo it with the gears but still give it a Steampunk feel.
-Blue LEDS are also mounted into the knob control area. Activated by a push button switch mounted in the access plate and powered by a 9 volt battery.
