This is a handmade beaded crystalline ice spider. The abdominal area is made from a clear faceted glass bead. The head is a smaller faceted clear glass bead. The legs are made from flexible but sturdy 21 ga. brass wire which are covered with small Swarovski Glass crystal beads and glass seed beads and can be carefully adjusted to almost any position. Silver bead caps are also incorporated into the body. A gold decorative hook is attached to the back of the abdomen and can be used to hang the spider or be removed.
A small droplet shaped bead has been added to one of the front legs to give the appearance of a small water droplet falling from the leg.
The spider can be used as a Steampunk accessory on a hat or vest, hung at a window or rear view mirror, Christmas Ornament, and possibly even worn as jewelry.
Weighs approximately 3 ounces and is 3" long.
