This is an aged version of a non-firing Japanese Matchlock pistol introduced by the Portuguese and used from the mid 1500's up until the earlier 1800"s.
It weighs approximately 2.25 lbs. and is 22" long with an aged brass and pewter finish.
Wooden hand grips.
Trigger and matchlock mechanism work on pistol.
Very nice replica with a lot of nice detailing.
Antiquing has been added to give it an aged look.
This is a non firing replica.
An optional leather leg holster is also available in brown or black.
A different and unique take on a pirate or steampunk costume or a nice display item.
